Maricopa Association of Government's Complete Streets Guide
The Maricopa Association of Government's Complete Streets Guide is the first of its kind in Arizona. It provides policy and design direction for the planning, design and implementation of complete streets in the MAG region. The Guide includes an assessment of existing complete streets activities in the region, a summary of best practices, strategies for integrating complete streets with economic development, historic preservation and green streets agendas and five Complete Streets design prototypes appropriate to the Maricopa region. Development of the Guide included developing consensus between MAG member agencies regarding the definition and components of complete streets, facility design standards, and the planning process.
