ADOT: Complete Transportation Guidebook
The Arizona Department of Transportation's "Complete Transportation Guidebook" is a ground-breaking study that has allowed for the state to permit more flexible mobility and non-motorized transportation options on state roads. As part of the development of this guidebook, PLAN-et worked with ADOT to provide the Land Use and Transportation element, and supported public engagement for this significant study. As a result of this guidebook, the state now permits sidewalks, bike lanes, and other non-motorized facilities on state roads, and considers adjacent land use in roadway design.
